"Take Your Mama" is a song by American band Scissor Sisters and is the second track on their self-titled debut album (see 2004 in music). It was released March 29, 2004 as a single in the UK, peaking at #17 in the UK Singles Chart (see 2004 in British music). It also saw considerable success internationally, notably New Zealand, where it reached #11 in the New Zealand Top 40 Singles Chart. The song was included in the soundtrack to FIFA Football 2005.

"Freelove" is Depeche Mode's thirty-eighth UK single, released on November 5 2001 in the UK and December 11 in the U.S. It is the third single for the album Exciter. The song topped in US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play and reached a number 19 at UK singles chart.

"Stand My Ground" is the first single from Dutch symphonic metal/rock band Within Temptation's The Silent Force. The song is also included on the U.S. edition of the band's 2007 album The Heart of Everything. It became a top 10 hit in 3 countries (the Netherlands, Belgium and Finland) and became a top 40 hit in 4 other countries. It was also used in the trailer for the movie Blood & Chocolate. The song was successful in the Netherlands reaching the #4 spot but was also the most successful song after Ice Queen in Europe. It went top ten in also Belgium and Finland and became a #13 hit in Germany. Although there was no sign of the song in the official Spanish chart, it topped the Spanish Airplay Chart and Los 40 Principales.

"Get Ur Freak On" is a hip hop song written by American rapper/singer Missy Elliott and her producer Tim "Timbaland" Mosley for Elliott's third studio album Miss E... So Addictive (2000). Released as the album's first single in 2001, the track reached #7 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 on June 30, 2001, becoming Missy Elliott's fifth most successful single to date. The song was her first top ten hit in the UK, peaking at #4 there, spending six weeks inside the top 20. A remix of the song featuring Nelly Furtado was a dance club hit during this period. The song's beat is based on bhangra, a popular music and dance form from the Punjab state of India.

"Hot" is a song performed by female Romanian recording artist Inna. The song was written and produced by native dance music trio Play & Win. It acts as her debut single and first single released from her debut studio album of the same name, Hot. It was released on CD and digital format through numerous record labels and across various countries in Europe as well as the United States. Most countries in which the song was released, the Play & Win radio edit was used as the official single version. "Hot" was first sent to radio stations in Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey and Hungary on December 23, 2008, after the November release in her home country. It is an up-tempo song with prominent electronic music and house music characteristics. The lyrics evoke a meaning of how strong of a connection one can have with one's lover.The single has so far garnered success for Inna in Spain (where it was also certified Platinum), Ukraine and on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Chart in the United States where the single reached number one. It has also been a top ten hit in Belgium, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia and The Netherlands.
