It is the second radio single release off his debut album, For Your Entertainment and his first ever top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100.The song was written by Pink, Max Martin, and Shellback and was recorded by Pink for her fifth studio album, Funhouse, but didn't make it to the final cut.It was produced by Max Martin and Shellback, who have collaborated with Pink, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and fellow Idols Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Allison Iraheta and Carrie Underwood. The song received a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

"Whenever, Wherever" is a Latin pop song written by singer Gloria Estefan, Tim Mitchell and Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira for her first English language album, Laundry Service. It is the second most successful song of Shakira's career, behind only "Hips Don't Lie". "Suerte", meaning "luck", is a version of "Whenever, Wherever" recorded in Spanish. It is about how fortunate she is to have found a person like the man with whom she is in a relationship. "Whenever, Wherever" hit number one in 29 countries, becoming the biggest hit of 2002 worldwide. The single has sold over 9,000,000 copies, placing it in the top 3 of the best selling singles of the decade.

"Since U been Gone" is a song written and produced by Max Martin and Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald for American singer Kelly Clarkson. The song was released as the first single from her second album, Breakaway in the US and Australia and was released as the second single in Europe. Its lyrical concept concerns a failed relationship in which the protagonist later expresses relief about the breakup. Clarkson, who sought interest in a more rock-oriented image, wanted to alter the song's original composition to allow more drums. The song has a pop punk influence in drums and guitar riffs. The song was successful during 2005, and was the second US digital download to sell over one million copies. It reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the Canada airplay chart. In the UK it reached number five and remained on the chart until the second quarter of 2006. At the 48th Grammy Awards, in 2006, Clarkson received a Grammy Award for the song in the category of "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance". "Since U Been Gone" charted at 97 in Blender magazine's 500 Greatest Songs Since You Were Born. In August 2009, the song was ranked at number 21 in "The Top 500 Tracks of the 2000s" by Pitchfork Media. In December 2009, the song was listed as number 18 in Rolling Stone's "100 Best Songs of the Decade". It was co-produced by Timbaland and Danja and released as the album's third single in North America and Australia (see 2006 in music). The song served as the album's fourth single in certain European and Asian countries. It was released digitally in the United Kingdom in March 2007. It was the album's fifth single in Latin America. "Say It Right" received positive reviews from critics praising its high quality production as well as commenting on the lyrical content and Furtado's vocal performance. The song attained worldwide success, topping the charts in more than thirty countries including the United States, Spain, France, New Zealand, Canada and many European countries. The accompanying music video for the song portrays Furtado singing it in various costumes and various locations. The song has been performed on a number of live appearances by Furtado including her third headlining Get Loose tour.

It is the second single from his English greatest hits album Greatest Hits.[3] The song was produced by RedOne who was a co-writer of the song alongside Iglesias and Frankie Storm."Takin' Back My Love" became an international hit debuting at #3 on French Singles Chart on January 17, 2009, with 3,137 copies sold, being ex aequo with the number two. The single debuted at #14 on the Eurochart Hot 100 chart after its first week of release where it peaked for two weeks and then jumped 10 spots to #4. In the United Kingdom the song debuted at #88. Since then it has so far peaked at #12. In Ireland, the song managed a peak of #7. The single went gold in Russia with 100,000 copies sold.
